The Boards

Gather round.

The easiest, most joyful way to feed people: pile wholesome, colorful food onto one big board — ideally sprawled across slate with good serving forks — and let everyone graze. Some boards are a full meal on their own; others are a beautiful nosh for a party — round those out with a salad and a protein, and dinner's done. Each one's labeled so you know which is which.

“What's for dinner?” just got easier — serve a board, add a salad and a protein on the side, and dinner's done.

Any board, in five moves

Same simple formula every time. Pick from each row, pile it on, done.

Protein grilled chicken · shrimp · turkey meatballs · eggs
Dips hummus · whipped feta · tzatziki · baba ghanoush
Cheese fresh mozzarella · feta · manchego · Parmigiano
Vegetables & extras cucumbers · tomatoes · peppers · olives · nuts · fruit
Bread warm pita · garlic sourdough · bruschetta · pita chips

How it all fits together

A small board alongside a sheet-pan supper is an easy weeknight — the board is the side. A large board on its own, with a salad and a protein, is Friday night: feet up, everyone grazing, nothing to cook. And a few veggie flatbreads bridge the two. Same idea, any size.

Gina's tip

A board is where Sunday prep pays off. Serve it on a slab of slate or a big wooden board with nice serving forks; leave a little empty space so it looks generous; add a few good cheeses and an infused olive oil for dipping; and put something in every color. Nobody ever walks away from a colorful board hungry or unhappy.

The best kind of gathering

Food is really about the people around it

A board is an invitation to slow down and be together. SOVA is that same idea turned inward — a few quiet breaths so you're actually present for the people you gathered.
