Roll the Shoulders Back
Why this one

Typing and mousing quietly pull the shoulders forward and round the upper back. Rolling them back reverses that slouch and reopens the chest so you can breathe fully.

How to do it

Lift your shoulders toward your ears, then roll them back and down, sliding the shoulder blades wide and flat to reverse the forward slouch.

Keep in mind

Finish with the shoulder blades gliding down.

Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
