Calf Stretch at the Wall
Why this one

Sitting shortens the calves and slows circulation in the lower legs. Lengthening them helps push blood back up toward the heart and keeps the legs from feeling heavy.

How to do it

Hands on the wall, step one foot back and press the heel down, back leg straight, until you feel the calf lengthen. Switch sides.

Keep in mind

Heel down, back leg long.

Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
