Movement · Standing Balance
Reach to the Clock
The Work · Move 5 of 11 · a few each side

Why this one
Reaching in different directions teaches your body to stay balanced as your weight shifts — exactly what it must do in real life.
How to do it
Standing tall near support, reach one arm forward, then out to the side, then behind you, as if pointing to the numbers on a clock. Return to center and switch arms.
Keep in mind
Only reach as far as you can stay steady. Grow the range slowly.
Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
