Tree Pose
Why this one

Tree is the balance pose most of us know — and for good reason. Rooting down through one leg while you open the hip builds steadiness, focus, and a quiet kind of confidence.

How to do it

Stand tall near support. Shift your weight onto one leg and rest the sole of the other foot against your ankle, calf, or inner thigh — never against the knee. Bring your hands together at your heart. Hold, then switch sides.

Keep in mind

Press the foot and leg gently into each other. Grow tall through the crown as you root down through the standing foot.

Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
