The Steady Reach
Why this one

Reaching opposite arm and leg builds deep core and back strength while keeping you off your back — steadiness for the whole body.

How to do it

On hands and knees, extend the opposite arm and leg long and level, keeping your spine neutral and hips square. Hold a moment, then switch sides.

Keep in mind

Reach long in both directions; keep the belly gently supported and the back flat.

Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
