Calf Stretch at the Wall
Why this one

Walking works the calves with every step, and they tighten as they cool. Stretching while you’re still warm keeps them loose and protects the Achilles and ankles.

How to do it

Face a wall, hands flat at shoulder height. Step your right foot back, leg straight, and press the heel down until you feel the calf lengthen. Switch sides.

Keep in mind

Keep the back leg straight and the heel grounded.

Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
