Movement · Evening Wind-Down
Child’s Pose
The Work · Move 3 of 9 · Hold ~1 min

Why this one
Folding forward and sinking the hips back signals safety to the nervous system — one of the quickest ways to shift the body out of the day’s busyness and toward rest.
How to do it
Kneel with your big toes together and knees wide. Sink your hips back toward your heels, reach your arms long, and rest your forehead down. Breathe into your lower back.
Keep in mind
Let your whole body get heavy and soft.
Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
