Sit to Stand
Why this one

Rising without your hands builds the leg strength that balance depends on — and the everyday confidence to get up from any chair.

How to do it

From a sturdy chair, cross your arms over your chest, lean forward from the hips, and stand using only your legs. Lower back down with control. Repeat.

Keep in mind

Push through your heels. Slow on the way down — that’s where the strength is built.

Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
