Legs Up the Wall
Why this one

Turning the legs up reverses the day’s downward pull, drains tired, heavy legs, and shifts you into the rest-and-digest state that prepares you for real sleep. Five quiet minutes here does more than it looks.

How to do it

Scoot your hips close to a wall and extend your legs up it, arms resting open at your sides. Close your eyes and breathe slowly into your belly for about five minutes.

Keep in mind

Nothing to do here but breathe and let go.

Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
