Movement · Strong Bones
Incline Wall Push-Up with Impact
The Work · Move 9 of 15

Starting position
Stand facing a sturdy wall, slightly further than arm’s length, palms flat at shoulder height and width.
8–10 reps
Breath — Inhale to prepare · Exhale to execute
How to do it
Keeping your body in a straight line, bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the wall, then press firmly to return, letting your hands briefly leave the wall at the top and catching yourself softly.
Keep in mind
Keep your body rigid like a plank — don’t let your lower back sag or hips drop.
Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
