The Hundred
Why this one

The Hundred is the classic Pilates warm-up for the core — it builds heat, breath, and deep abdominal connection all at once.

How to do it

Lie on your back, curl your head and shoulders up, and extend your legs to a height you can hold with a flat belly. Reach your arms long by your sides and pump them up and down as you breathe in for five counts and out for five — up to a hundred.

Keep in mind

Keep the low back gently anchored and the belly flat, not domed. Higher legs are easier; lower is stronger.

Every move: lightly lift your pelvic floor — a gentle lift, never a clench — and breathe slow and full (hold the stretches for about 5 easy breaths, at least 30 seconds). New to the lift? →
