Welcome to GLOW — Gina's Lifestyle Of Wellness — my private Pilates studio in Ridgewood, NJ. Big group classes are everywhere right now, and they have their place. But a room of twenty people all doing the same movement can't see what your body actually needs. One-on-one, I can.
Every session is built around you — your alignment, your pelvic floor, your breath, and the way you actually walk and carry weight through the day. When it's just the two of us, I can read your form in real time, correct it in the moment, and adjust for the body in front of me, so every movement works for you instead of against you. My work is rooted in Pilates — alignment, control, and precision — and built outward to include Callanetics, strength training, and functional movement. Sessions are available in studio or virtually via Zoom or FaceTime, and mindfulness and nutritional counseling are included in every program at no extra cost.
Slow is also a pace.

Available in-person and via Zoom or FaceTime, in 60-, 45-, or 30-minute formats. Every fitness session incorporates essential nutritional guidance. Feel free to connect for a complimentary 30-minute demo.
Warmth, and my full attention on you. We start with a complimentary 30-minute consultation — by phone or in the studio — to talk through your history, how you're feeling, and what you'd like to work toward. From there, every session is one-on-one and built around your body: no big classes, no rushing, no one-size-fits-all. I read your form in real time, correct it in the moment, and adjust for exactly what you need that day. You'll leave feeling seen — and usually a little taller.
Socks are required — grip socks recommended. For sanitary reasons, bare feet aren't permitted on the equipment, so please wear socks; I recommend grip socks for extra stability. Wear form-fitting clothing so I can see your alignment and correct your form — leggings are ideal, but anything that won't ride up works well. A fitted tee or tank on top is perfectly fine. New to grip socks? Just ask and I'll point you to a pair I love.
Come about 10 minutes early for your first visit. There's a short liability waiver to fill out — you'll find it on the Book a Session page, so feel free to print and bring it ahead of time, or complete it when you arrive. Arriving a little early also gives us a moment to say hello, talk through anything on your mind, and walk through how the equipment works before we begin.
None at all. I work with complete beginners and lifelong movers alike, meeting you exactly where you are and building from there. Proper form comes first, and we always move at your pace.
Yes. In the studio we use the full equipment. Over Zoom or FaceTime, sessions are all matwork — including variations of GLOW Body Evolution and my other methods — so you get a complete, guided workout with nothing but a mat at home. Both run in 60-, 45-, or 30-minute formats.
Sessions come in 60-, 45-, and 30-minute formats. How often is up to your goals and your body — many clients come once or twice a week, but we'll find a rhythm that's sustainable for you. Consistency matters far more than intensity.
If you have an active injury, rest and let it heal first. Once you're recovered, we'll begin with a private session so I can see where your body is and build something safe and appropriate for you. Pilates is a wonderful post-injury practice — it rebuilds strength, mobility, and confidence gently, one area at a time. With my training in anatomy and functional movement, I tailor every exercise to the body in front of me, and I'm happy to work alongside your physical therapist or doctor if you have one. Keeping you safe is always my first priority.
Yes — moving alongside a friend or partner can be a lovely way to share the experience. One honest note: if either of you has specific limitations or health considerations, I'll usually recommend private one-on-one instead, so I can give your body my full, undivided attention. For everyone else, duets are a wonderful option.
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule — that protects the time I've set aside just for you. Sessions cancelled inside the 24-hour window are forfeited. That said, life happens: your first late cancellation is on me, no questions asked. Packages expire six months from purchase and are non-refundable and non-transferable, and socks are required for every equipment session (grip socks recommended).
Reach out for a complimentary 30-minute consultation. We'll talk through your goals and figure out together which approach fits you best — no pressure, just a conversation.
